The Wall by Matviy Vaisberg
National Museum hosts an exhibition of The Wall by Matviy Vaisberg on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Independence Day.
This unique art project includes twenty eight paintings created by the famous artist in 2014 at the time of the Revolution of Dignity in Kyiv.
At first, there was a series of thirty two artworks inspired by the Bible. The Wall captures the events of the revolution as seen by an artist. One can feel the blood, fire and fear captured in the paintings as well as a deep feeling of hope.
The Wall has been displayed in Kyiv, London,Berlin, Warsaw, New York.
