The National Museum of Hutsulshchyna & Pokuttya Folk Art is implementing a website adaptation according to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1.

The project is supported by The Ukrainian Cultural Foundation, a state-owned institution aiming to facilitate development of culture and arts in Ukraine.

The assistance of inclusive approach in culture sphere is our goal. We are involved in the implementation of inclusion and inclusive design in the museum activity. In close collaboration with IT professionals of web accessibility we are contributing to this worldwide trend.

Introducing the English version of the museum website we are aiming to join the international community and expecting to increase the number of foreign followers. At the same time we are working on museum's video content with subtitles and alternative texts as the key requirements for the availability of content for people with special needs.

We are working hard to create a high-quality inclusive web-product. Thus we’ll make the biggest collection of Hutsul & Pokuttya folk art available to everyone worldwide.
